Ido Gidron

Ido Gidron was born in Shoresh, Israel in 1995.  

He graduated ‘The Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance’, and the young dancers project of Batsheva Dance Company. After graduation Ido joined the IDF securing an ‘excellent dancer award’. He danced with  KCDC 2, and Batsheva ensemble. In November 2017, Ido was a guest dancer at the National Norwegian Ballet in Oslo.

Ido is a freelance dancer who has worked with Idan Sharabi, Maya Michlal Gelfand, Avichai Haham and Sharon Vazanna. “Dualism”- a duet he created won 3rd prize at the ‘Machol Shalem’ choreography competition, and performed at Berlin, Copenhagen, Rotterdam, The Canary Islands and Nicosia. Ido is a certified Gaga teacher, who teaches in dance schools around Israel, open classes in Israel and abroad, and was a guest teacher at Göthenburg Opera in Sweden and Ci Tula Limanios in Berlin.

He teaches his own repertoire, in addition to the Gaga movement language.
