Albert Garrell Buñuel

Albert Garrell Buñuel started his studies at the Institut del Teatre, Barcelona. In 2004, he got
accepted in the Hamburg Ballet School under the direction of John Neumeier where
he graduated in 2007.
In 2007 he joined It Dansa, under the direction of Catherine Allard. After having
spent two seasons with the company, he joined Introdans in 2012. He went on and
joined the Staatstheatre Wiesbaden (Thoss Tanz Company) in 2012, Germany.
Throughout his career, Albert Garrell has danced in works from Alexander Ekman,
Ohad Naharin, Stijn Celis, Nacho Duato, Jiri Kylian, Rafael Bonachela, Jo Stromgen,
among others.
Since 2015, he has been working on several independent projects as well as becoming
a full time teacher.

 

Class description:

I teach ballet technique allowing the dancer to feel free on their movement, no restrictions. Be aware of the music, space that surronds us, dimensions of our body and play with different dynamics. I basically teach a class in order to prepare the body for the day, as if they would be in a professional company.
