Ralf was born in Germany and raised in Rio de Janeiro. He studied dance in Germany and New York and directed the German Hildesheim theater dance company. He travels around the world teaching contact improvisation in all kinds of contexts since 2002.

 

The movements in contact improvisation are continuously being inspired by the direct physical contact between two or more bodies. In these classes, we’ll therefore sharpen our kinetic communication skills and train our openness for collaboration co-creativity while dancing. The resulting improvisations will embrace detail, sensuousness and flow, momentum will build, and our dance will gain full legibility and spatial presence and transparency.
