Biografi:

Besides running my own school in Finland, I taught ballet at HelsinginTanssiopisto and various schools and organizations around Finland. At the moment I teach at the Performing Arts School and at Dansforum in Göteborg.

I have studied in London at the West Street School in Covent Garden in a three-year dance program. I found quite early on that passing forward what I had learned from my mentors is close to my heart. Because of that, I have been teaching classical ballet in all levels ever since I returned from London in 1992.

I have kept my knowledge up to date in Classical Ballet, floor barre and Pilates with several intensive courses around Finland and Europé.

Klassbeskrivning:

The focus in my ballet classes is to find an economical way of working without forcing the technique. I believe classical ballet is for everyone. I have always found it fascinating to work with different body types and how, not only professional dancers but everyday bodies can find the grace of traditional classical ballet moves. I love choreographing and spicing up the combinations with little details, so that already at the barre one can get the joy of movement while working with the basic technique.
