Black Box Dance Company is a professional dance company for dancers in the beginning of their career.

With a base in Holstebro, Denmark, the company tours with a variety of performances, consisting of small, large, youth, adult, new creation and repertoire pieces etc., both nationally and internationally. Under the artistic direction of Marie Brolin-Tani, the company has, since its birth in 2013, gained great momentum and success, and is entering its so-far busiest season.

We are seeking for dancers, both male and female, who are in the beginning of their careers.

We require versatile dancers with a strong physicality, high level of technic and composition-improvisation skills, as well as an exceptional stage presence. We greatly appreciate dancers who are dedicated, creative, curious, courageous, and responsible and who enjoy a dynamic work process as well as a variation in production types.

The dancers will be part of a group of 8-9 dancers.

Contract are available for following periods: June 2017. August 2017 – December 2017. January 2018 – April 2018.

Note: The audition is by invitation only. Those invited will receive notice by the 27th of March 2017. Those invited will all participate on Saturday the 8th of April. Hereafter at the end of the day, a selection will be made for those continuing onto Sunday the 9th of April. All those invited MUST be able to participate both days.
