Biography: Milka is born in Sweden and started her education at Balettakademien in Gothenburg. After her degree from Balettakademien she went on to study at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance where she finished her trainee program. After that she studied at The Alvin Ailey school for a year. Milka has danced with Pearl Lange, Sandra Kaufmann and other choreographers in  the USA.

She has been teaching for several years and her classes are a mix of different contemporary styles. Graham-inspired with other influences.

 

Class description: Her classes focus on trust for one’s own body and it’s possibilities, pushing the familiar for a deeper reach and, with that, a connection to pure movement.
