Jonas Byaruhanga is a Ugandan based dancer and choreographer and the director of Keiga Dance Company- the biggest contemporary dance platform in East Africa (Dance Transmissions Festival).

Class description:

Jonas Byaruhanga´s teaching intends to accentuate a link between his traditional dances, rich in motivational forces, and other different dance techniques he pocketed along the way. His dancing explores incursions prompted by proposing and opposing view points between cultures, thereby approaching the African contemporary dance idiom with a fusion of rewoven dance techniques.
