Class description: This physical contemporary class is intended to bring awareness to the dancers bodies through the sense of internal and external initiation and articulation to allow the body to remain vulnerable/accessible to the space and floor. Dancers will work through a mixture of classical technique, floor work and upper body movement. The class will challenge the dancers attention to detail, space, precision and musicality but with freedom to expose their own individual qualities. Essentially, this class is to help dancers discover new ways of using the body musically while simultaneously finding ways to filter themselves through different vocabulary.
